Our Commitment To Our Guests

The safety of our guests is our top priority. We are committed to providing experiences and services that meet the highest sanitation and hygiene standards in the spa industry. To enjoy your experience to the fullest, we ask that guests be aware of the following standards and requests to help us ensure your safety and comfort as well as that of other guests and spa employees.

AS A SPA,WE ARE COMMITTED TO:

  1. Meeting or exceeding all state, local and regulatory guidelines relating to sanitation and hygiene
  2. Prohibiting employees who have a fever or are sick from engaging with guests or guest areas
  3. Training employees on sanitation and hygiene standards
  4. Washing hands for a minimum of 20 seconds at the start and end of a treatment/service
  5. Allowing guests to forgo accessing communal spaces if requested
  6. Provide full refunds to guests unable to make their appointment due to illness with advance notice
  7. Fully sanitizing all treatment spaces between each service
  8. Always providing clean sanitized linens, towels, robes, sandals, etc. for each service

AS A SPA GUEST, YOU ARE REQUESTED TO COMMIT TO

  1. Refraining from visiting the spa if you have a fever or communicable illness
  2. Refraining from visiting the spa if you are under an isolation or quarantine order/directive
  3. Respecting the spa’s sanitation and hygiene standards and processes posted within the spa
  4. Washing hands for a minimum of 20 seconds prior to beginning each treatment/service
  5. Sharing special sanitation or hygiene requests prior to arriving at the spa

The Body+Beauty Lab Standard:

Our Commitment to Safety is Paramount. Here's what we are doing at Body+Beauty Lab to keep our clients and staff safe. We have always been and continue to be dedicated to offering you the highest quality of care in the safest possible environment. In light of the recent developments with the COVID-19 pandemic, we have instituted further measures in addition to our already industry-leading standards. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to implement the strategies that are necessary to maintain that high standard.

Appointment Schedules

To reduce the spread of communicable diseases, appointments will now be spaced 15 minutes apart. This additional time to reduce occupancy levels will allow for our clients to follow social distancing guidelines. This new procedure minimizes traffic flow problems and prevents clients from arriving or departing from the lobby at the same time. Early arrivals may choose to wait in the Franklin Lobby until 5 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time. There will be no more than 2 clients in the entrance of B+BL at any time.

Documentation

Upon scheduling and confirming your appointment, we will send you forms to complete in advance. These will also be available on our website under “client forms”. This will eliminate your time in our waiting room. Pre and Post Treatment Instruction forms will also be available electronically.

Screening for Clients

B+BL will screen clients who arrive at the facility for any illness or virus using the most up-to-date CDC screening guidelines. As soon as the client enters the building, the front desk team member will greet them wearing a mask and gloves. Clients must be wearing a mask to enter B+BL. Staff will then direct the client to sit in the chair at the front door prior to getting their temperature taken with a digital, no-touch thermometer. We will be asking pre-screening questions regarding current health, exposure to contagious conditions, and recent travel domestic and international travel.

Screenings for Employees

Each team member is responsible for reporting to work “healthy and fit for duty”, which means that they are able to perform their role as outlines in their job description. When a staff member enters the building, they will have their temperature taken with a digital, no-touch thermometer. The test will be administered in the B+BL lobby, by the front door. These procedures will remain in place until deemed no longer necessary.

Hygiene

Our entire team is trained on the best methods of hand washing and universal precautions. We have also provided hand sanitizing stations for all of our patients throughout the facility.

PPE

We will be wearing the appropriate (PPE) personal protective equipment to protect you and our team. Gloves, masks, face shields and shoe protection will be used as necessary for this purpose. In order to enter our facility, masks are required to be worn.

Cleanliness

While you are already accustomed to the cleanliness of our medical spa environment provided by our full-time cleaning staff, we have increased the effort. We are increasing the frequency of common area cleaning and using a disinfectant that is EPA-registered disinfectant approved for disinfecting COVID-19, in addition to the complete sanitation of all treatment rooms prior and after all client appointments.

Cashless Payment

We will no longer be accepting cash for payment.

UV-C Light Technology

B+BL will be utilizing a sanitary device that uses UV-C light to eliminate the threat of bacteria, viruses, mold spores, and allergy-inducing microorganisms found on the items closest to you. Scientific research has proven that the most effective frequency for microbial destruction is between 280nm and 200nm, which is within the UV-C band. B+BL will also have a UV Air Purifying System.

Curbside Pickup

Your favorite B+BL skincare products will also be available to be picked up via curbside.

Guests

Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment (unless a parent with a minor or if an aide is needed). Approved visitors will be required to wear a mask, asked to complete the COVID-19 questionnaire and have their temperature check as well as whether they live in the same household as a COVID-19 positive person.

Deliveries

We are not permitting any deliveries to enter through our B+BL entrance. We are requesting all deliveries to be brought to the Franklin Lobby.

Virtual Consultations

We are excited to extend to both new and existing clients complementary virtual consultation.
