What Can I Expect With VOLUMA?
After your consultation, your procedure may be performed that day or scheduled for your next appointment, depending on availability. In our minor procedures rooms, you will be seated comfortably as your skin is cleansed before the injections. The injector may also apply a local anesthetic to make the injections more comfortable if desired. For precision, your injector will mark the areas to be treated before administering the VOLUMA injections with a fine needle. After the VOLUMA has been injected into your skin, you may experience some swelling and redness, but this usually subsides quickly.
