Dysport is a nonsurgical wrinkle treatment that reduces dynamic lines and creases throughout your face, like glabellar lines on the upper face. Like other types of wrinkle relaxer injectables, Dysport utilizes a clean form of botulinum toxin type A to temporarily relax or freeze specific muscles in the facial area. When these muscles are treated, the frequent movements that produce dynamic wrinkles will be limited, and the skin above the muscle will be softened. This allows you to smile, frown, and maintain these facial expressions for as you want without leading to dynamic lines. It also delivers rejuvenated results that won't make you look "overdone." How Does Dysport Work?
Following your consultation, Dysport treatments are carried out in one of our private treatment rooms and should take no more than 15 – 30 minutes. A numbing cream is usually not needed because Dysport is given using a fine-gauge needle that leads to minimal discomfort, but it can be provided if requested. Once the skin has been cleaned, several Dysport injections will be placed across the forehead and brow region, followed by a cold pack to reduce bruising and inflammation. Following your injections at Body+Beauty Lab, you can resume your normal activities, but you should try to avoid taxing exercise for at least a day.
