Dr. Benjamin Lam, D.O., F.A.C.O.S., F.A.C.S. received his medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Lam enrolled in an anesthesiology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and later completed a general surgery residency and plastic & reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Double board certified in both General Surgery as well as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Lam is a fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons as well as the American College of Surgeons. As a recognized speaker on a national level, Dr. Lam is also the program director of the plastic & reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has held the position of president in the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons – Plastic Surgery section. For nearly ten years, he has developed expertise in body contouring as well as numerous additional cosmetic surgery procedures. Dr. Lam is highly respected for his accomplishments in breast reconstruction after mastectomy, breast enlargements, reductions and lifts. His techniques have been adopted by surgeons around the country. Dr. Lam has also developed technological advances in the medical surgical industry that have been registered with the United States Patent office.
Dr. Lam completed his Undergraduate School at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, followed by Medical School at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. Shortly after, he succeeded in his Rotating Internship at Delaware Valley Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania and completed his Anesthesia Residency at the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He moved on to excel at his General Surgery Residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by his Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in. I found Body+Beauty Lab in Radnor about 12 months before my wedding, looking to get my skin looking fresh and hydrated before the big day. I had some random break outs and pigmentation that I wanted to work on. Over the year, I went in for routine signature facials, hydrafacials, and a light chemical peel. Sandi is the absolute best!! She is so good at what she does and so knowledgable. She didn't push any treatments on me and really individualized everything to match what my skin needed. Not only is she exceptional at what she does, but she's also so personable and made me feel so comfortable from the minute I walked in. Best beauty studio I’ve been to in years. The most friendly place and staff I’ve come across and so knowledgeable and willing to share their beauty wisdom! - And I used to live in Manhattan for 11 years. 🤯 Sandi and Leigh-Ann and Ashely and Sarah…everyone is just amazing. What a gem. I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks!
